The Eurolife semi-annual meeting is approaching!
On 29 June 2026, Eurolife partners will meet in Strasbourg, hosted by the University of Strasbourg / UNISTRA.
The meeting will provide an important opportunity for Eurolife members to discuss the next strategic steps for the network, including the preparation of Eurolife’s new strategy, provisionally scheduled for launch in November in Dublin.
The Strasbourg meeting will also include a Eurolife Distinguished Lecture by Dr Jacky Goetz, Inserm Research Director and founder of the Tumor Biomechanics Lab.
Dr Goetz will give a lecture entitled:“Caught in the Flow: How Cancer Cells Colonize the Body”
His research focuses on the biomechanical mechanisms that drive tumour dissemination and metastasis, combining cutting-edge intravital imaging technologies with in vivo models. His work has significantly advanced our understanding of how mechanical forces, vascular biology, extracellular vesicles and tumour cell properties contribute to cancer metastasis and open new therapeutic perspectives.
The lecture will take place on Monday, 29 June 2026, at 17:00, at UNISTRA, hosted by Dr Catherine Schuster and Dr Joern Pütz.
We look forward to coming together in Strasbourg for strategic discussion, scientific exchange and the next steps in shaping Eurolife’s future.
